We started camping in 1975 with an old borrowed leaky army tent. From those rustic beginnings we traveled through out North America in conversion vans, pop-up folding campers, travel trailers and motor homes.
Innovation has evolved recreational vehicles into more than a way to go camping. Our RV’s are now an extension of who we are and allow us to express our sense of freedom. Rigs of today offer more comfort and convenience than many people have in homes made of sticks and bricks.
Electronic technology has moved our RV’ing experience into the 21st century. Blackberry’s, iPhones and the latest thin and lightweight lap top computers enable us to check e-mail, adjust for weather conditions along our route, perform on-line bill paying and much more. We can roam anywhere in North America and stay connected to those back home. We no longer have to send post cards or look for a pay phone to contact family and friends. They no longer have to wonder where we’re at or what we’re doing.
